Madix (www.madixinc.com) is a leading full-service provider of retail store fixtures, point of sale displays, and Workstations. The company serves customers throughout the world.

Computer-controlled machinery and state-of-the-art production systems operate in over 2,300,000 sq. ft. (213,670 sq. m.) of manufacturing facilities located in Terrell, Texas; Goodwater, Alabama; Eclectic, Alabama; and North Brookfield, Massachusetts. Madix’s highly skilled staff handles each step of production from product design to stringent quality testing, to assure complete satisfaction on every order. Madix manages its own distribution operations throughout the United States and one location in Europe for quick delivery of products.

Madix was created in 1982 by the merger of Dixie Craft Manufacturing (established 1956) and Maytex Store Fixtures (established 1962). In 2003, Madix acquired Spencer Products (established 1958), located in North Brookfield, Massachusetts.

Then	Now

Madix began manufacturing retail store fixtures over 40 years ago.	Today Madix manufactures over 65,000 steel, wire, and wood products.


In the mid 1970's, Madix Store Fixtures introduced a new line of Gondola/Wall Shelving at a national trade show.	Since then Gondola/Wall Shelving has proven to be one of Madix's best product sellers.

Madix operates over 2,300,000 sq. ft. (213,670 sq. m.) of manufacturing space in Terrell, Texas; Goodwater, Alabama; Eclectic, Alabama; and North Brookfield, Massachusetts. Madix manages over 175,000 sq. ft. (16,257.50 sq. m.) of warehouse space in the United States and the United Kingdom.

Madix employs over 1,500 people, including 43 full-time sales representatives and over twelve independent representatives, each strategically located throughout the world to provide fast reliable field service. Each factory representative and customer service representative utilizes the training and tools necessary to accurately communicate with customers and process orders. Customer service helps customers and supports sales representatives.

Computer-automated order processing and manufacturing tracking systems permit Madix to control costs and speed up delivery schedules. Computer-assisted design and engineering departments accomplish cutting-edge product development. Madix facilitates its customers' office, store planning, and merchandising goals, including providing CAD services. Madix also provides worldwide installation services through National Installers. The Installation Manager and the customer's sales representative monitor the job through final installation to insure complete satisfaction.

Madix maintains an extensive catalog of parts designed for office, retailers, manufacturers of consumer goods, and design firms. We design and manufacture products at a higher volume with a shorter lead-time than many companies.

Four plants operate in over 2,300,000 sq. ft. (213,670 sq. m.) of manufacturing space, one facility in Terrell, Texas; one in Goodwater, Alabama; a third plant in Eclectic, Alabama; and a fourth in North Brookfield, Massachusetts.

Madix manages warehouse operations throughout the United States, and the United Kingdom.
